ABOUT THE IMAGE: This is a matching set of background painting with line overlay and cel painting of Christopher Robin, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and Roo that was created in the Disney Studio and photographed for a scene in the educational film strip made for schools by the Walt Disney Educational Media Company. 

Handwritten production notes appear along the bottom of the sheets: "BG50" on the background painting, "#5 CL50" on the line overlay, and "#5 FR50 BG50" on the cel.

ABOUT THE MEDIUM: Original production cels are one-of-a-kind pieces of art that were used in the creation of an animated film or television show. Each has been hand-painted by studio artists on a piece of celluloid acetate, and has been photographed over a background painting to create a frame of the finished production.
